Abstract The increasingly popular inverter distributed generation in microgrids is leading to changes system fault characteristics. behaviors of are closely related the control mode. Here, a photovoltaic power supply constant mode enters low-voltage ride-through state when there microgrid. output current phase analyzed, and local protection method based on difference feeder positive-sequence proposed. used avoid interpreting voltage surges as faults, detect locate faults rapidly accurately. Electromagnetic transient simulation software demonstrate efficacy proposed scheme.
